so… what’s a concierge?

By the (old fashioned) standard definition, a concierge is  a usually multilingual hotel staff member who handles luggage and mail, makes reservations, and arranges tours. The modern day version of a concierge is much different to say the least! As you all know, I own my own cleaning and concierge company, Davis & Co. So really, what exactly do I do as a concierge?

The easiest way to explain a concierge to someone who’s never heard of one, let alone worked with one, is this: I help you with various tasks and planning in order for you to regain control of your time and freedom. Concierge services take all of my personal favorite aspects of business and combine them into a tangible service! So.. what’s that look like in a practical manner? Here are some of the things that I can handle as your personal concierge:

- Property maintenance management - Home checks and caretaking

- Grocery shopping and delivery - Gift basket design and delivery

- Errand running - Dining and activity reservations

- Gift purchasing and wrapping - Pet checks and dog walking

- “Freshen and Fluff” services - Personal organization

- Small event planning - Schedule other home vendors

- Package pickup - Moving and packing coordination

- Specialized itinerary planning - Personalized business tasks

and SO much more!

Now that we’ve got the definition and examples out of the way… how exactly does this work? I have two primary options for concierge services, one is a subscription based service (our most popular) and the other is an a la carte, or on-the-side service.

Subscription Based Services:

1. Set up a phone consultation

2. Pre-pay for 4 hours of service. Hours NEVER expire and are billed in 15 min increments.

3. Send requests in via whatever method that works for you- email, text, or call

4. Use hours for anything you want. Business, personal, etc...

5. When your account gets down to 1/2 hour left we will automatically reload your account with another 4 hours and invoice you accordingly.

6. Additional services provided by our outside vendors are an additional cost. We will handle the scheduling, management, and estimate retrieval.

7. Cancel anytime you want with a 2-week notice (unused time is not refundable).

A La Carte Services:

Our A La Carte services are particularly popular with those visiting our area or those that need just one or two small tasks done on a singular basis. This is a “pay as you go” or "one off" model. The subscription-based services will provide better rates on regularly scheduled items.

All of this being explained, if you have any further questions on concierge services or if you’d like to book any, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to work with you in whatever capacity you’re needing in order to free up more of you daily life.
